मिश्रगृहैश्च संयुक्ते मिश्रं फलमवाप्नुयात् ।
पापक्षेत्रदशाकाले देहजीवौ तु दुःखितौ ।
शुभक्षेत्रदशाकाले शुभं भवति निश्चितम् ॥१२९॥

129. miśragṛhaiśca saṃyukte miśraṃ phalamavāpnuyāt .
pāpakṣetradaśākāle dehajīvau tu duḥkhitau .
śubhakṣetradaśākāle śubhaṃ bhavati niścitam.

And when (a planet or daśā lord) is associated with mixed houses, one obtains mixed results. During the daśā period of malefic signs, the body (deha) and life-force (jīva) are indeed afflicted. During the daśā period of benefic signs, good results certainly occur.
