एकाद्येकोत्तरा ज्ञेयाः क्रमादासां दशासमाः ।
नक्षत्रयातभोगाभ्यां भुक्तं भोग्यं च साधयेत् ॥२००॥

200. ekādyekottarā jñeyāḥ kramādāsāṃ daśāsamāḥ .
nakṣatrayātabhogābhyāṃ bhuktaṃ bhogyaṃ ca sādhayet.

200. ekādyekottarā jñeyāḥ kramāt āsām daśāsamāḥ
nakṣatrayātabhogābhyām bhuktam bhogyam ca sādhayet

200. Their periods of years (daśāsamāḥ) are to be known as starting with one and increasing by one in sequence. One should determine the elapsed portion (bhuktam) and the remaining portion (bhogyam) from the constellation's elapsed and remaining spans (nakṣatrayātabhogābhyām).
