Then, if one (of the two lords) is in its own sign (svakṣetra) while the other is situated in a different sign, one should assign the planetary period (daśā) by taking the lord that is situated in that other sign. If, however, both of those lords are situated in other signs, then among those two, the one which is stronger (balī) should be chosen.
