रात्रौ लग्नाश्रिताद्राशेर्दिने लग्नेश्वराश्रिताम् ।
सन्ध्यायां वित्तभावस्थान्नेया चक्रदशा बुधैः ॥५०॥

50. rātrau lagnāśritādrāśerdine lagneśvarāśritām .
sandhyāyāṃ vittabhāvasthānneyā cakradaśā budhaiḥ.

50. rātrau lagnāśritāt rāśeḥ dine lagneśvarāśritām
sandhyāyām vittabhāvasthān neyā cakradaśā budhaiḥ

50. Astrologers (budhaiḥ) should determine the Cakradaśā: at night, it should be reckoned from the sign occupied by the ascendant; during the day, from the sign occupied by the lord of the ascendant; and during the twilight (sandhyā) period, from the planets situated in the second house (vittabhāva).
