मनु-स्मृतिः       manu-smṛtiḥ - chapter-8, verse-397

तन्तुवायो दशपलं दद्यादेकपलाधिकम ।
अतोऽन्यथा वर्तमानो दाप्यो द्वादशकं दमम ॥३९७॥
397. tantuvāyo daśapalaṁ dadyādekapalādhikam ,
ato'nyathā vartamāno dāpyo dvādaśakaṁ damam.

anyathā vartamānaḥ dāpyaḥ dvādaśakam damam

397. A weaver should deliver (finished cloth weighing) ten palas, including one pala as his due. If he acts otherwise, he should be made to pay a fine of twelve (coins).
