मनु-स्मृतिः       manu-smṛtiḥ - chapter-8, verse-331

परिपूतेषु धान्येषु शाकमूलफलेषु च ।
निरन्वये शतं दण्डः सान्वयेऽर्धशतं दमः ॥३३१॥
331. paripūteṣu dhānyeṣu śākamūlaphaleṣu ca ,
niranvaye śataṁ daṇḍaḥ sānvaye'rdhaśataṁ damaḥ.

331. For cultivated grains, vegetables, roots, and fruits, if there is no clear claimant to the stolen goods (nir-anvaye), the fine is one hundred (panas); if there is a clear claimant (sānvaye), the penalty is fifty.
