महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-14, verse-97

यावच्छशाङ्कशकलामलबद्धमौलिर्न प्रीयते पशुपतिर्भगवान्ममेशः ।
तावज्जरामरणजन्मशताभिघातैर्दुःखानि देहविहितानि समुद्वहामि ॥९७॥
97. yāvacchaśāṅkaśakalāmalabaddhamauli;rna prīyate paśupatirbhagavānmameśaḥ ,
tāvajjarāmaraṇajanmaśatābhighātai;rduḥkhāni dehavihitāni samudvahāmi.

na prīyate paśupatiḥ bhagavān mama
īśaḥ tāvat jarāmaraṇajanmaśatābhighātaiḥ

97. As long as Lord Paśupati (paśupati), my divine master, whose head is adorned with a pure crescent moon, is not pleased, so long do I endure the sufferings caused by the body, afflicted by hundreds of impacts from old age, death, and rebirths (saṃsāra).
