महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-14, verse-166

मोहितश्चास्मि देवेश तुभ्यं रूपविपर्ययात् ।
तेन नार्घ्यं मया दत्तं पाद्यं चापि सुरेश्वर ॥१६६॥
166. mohitaścāsmi deveśa tubhyaṁ rūpaviparyayāt ,
tena nārghyaṁ mayā dattaṁ pādyaṁ cāpi sureśvara.
166. mohitaḥ ca asmi deveśa tubhyam rūpaviparyayāt tena
na arghyam mayā dattam pādyam ca api sureśvara

166. O Lord of Gods, I was bewildered due to the change in your form. For that reason, I did not offer you the reverential water or the water for washing feet, O Lord of Suras.
