महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-14, verse-174

एवमुक्तस्ततः शर्वः सुरैर्ब्रह्मादिभिस्तथा ।
आह मां भगवानीशः प्रहसन्निव शंकरः ॥१७४॥
174. evamuktastataḥ śarvaḥ surairbrahmādibhistathā ,
āha māṁ bhagavānīśaḥ prahasanniva śaṁkaraḥ.
174. evam uktaḥ tataḥ śarvaḥ suraiḥ brahmādibhiḥ
tathā āha mām bhagavān īśaḥ prahasan iva śaṅkaraḥ
174. tathā brahmādibhiḥ suraiḥ evam uktaḥ bhagavān
īśaḥ śaṅkaraḥ śarvaḥ prahasan iva mām āha
174. Thus addressed by the gods, headed by Brahmā, Lord Śarva, the divine Īśa, Śaṅkara, then spoke to me as if with a smile.
