महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-14, verse-26

प्राप्यानुज्ञां गुरुजनादहं तार्क्ष्यमचिन्तयम् ।
सोऽवहद्धिमवन्तं मां प्राप्य चैनं व्यसर्जयम् ॥२६॥
26. prāpyānujñāṁ gurujanādahaṁ tārkṣyamacintayam ,
so'vahaddhimavantaṁ māṁ prāpya cainaṁ vyasarjayam.
26. prāpya anuñjñām guru-janāt aham tārkṣyam acintayam
saḥ avahat himavantam mām prāpya ca enam vyasarjayam
26. aham guru-janāt anuñjñām prāpya,
tārkṣyam acintayam.
saḥ mām himavantam avahat.
ca enam prāpya vyasarjayam.
26. Having obtained permission from the elders (guru), I meditated upon Tārkṣya (Garuḍa). He carried me to the Himalayas, and having reached there, I dismissed him.
