महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-14, verse-124

शरश्च सूर्यसंकाशः कालानलसमद्युतिः ।
यत्तदस्त्रं महाघोरं दिव्यं पाशुपतं महत् ॥१२४॥
124. śaraśca sūryasaṁkāśaḥ kālānalasamadyutiḥ ,
yattadastraṁ mahāghoraṁ divyaṁ pāśupataṁ mahat.

tat astram mahāghoram divyam pāśupatam mahat

124. The exceedingly dreadful, divine, great Pasupata weapon, which was like an arrow, shone like the sun and possessed the radiance of the fire of destruction (kālānala).
