महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-14, verse-129

निर्ददाह जगत्कृत्स्नं त्रैलोक्यं सचराचरम् ।
महेश्वरभुजोत्सृष्टं निमेषार्धान्न संशयः ॥१२९॥
129. nirdadāha jagatkṛtsnaṁ trailokyaṁ sacarācaram ,
maheśvarabhujotsṛṣṭaṁ nimeṣārdhānna saṁśayaḥ.

129. Without a doubt, he (Maheśvara) completely burned the entire world—the three worlds, including all moving and non-moving beings—in half a blink, with the weapon released by his arm.
