महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-14, verse-27

तत्राहमद्भुतान्भावानपश्यं गिरिसत्तमे ।
क्षेत्रं च तपसां श्रेष्ठं पश्याम्याश्रममुत्तमम् ॥२७॥
27. tatrāhamadbhutānbhāvānapaśyaṁ girisattame ,
kṣetraṁ ca tapasāṁ śreṣṭhaṁ paśyāmyāśramamuttamam.
27. tatra aham adbhutān bhāvān apaśyam giri-sattame
kṣetram ca tapasām śreṣṭham paśyāmi āśramam uttamam
27. tatra aham giri-sattame adbhutān bhāvān apaśyam.
ca tapasām śreṣṭham kṣetram,
uttamam āśramam paśyāmi.
27. There, on that best of mountains, I saw wonderful phenomena. I also see a supreme area for austerities (tapas) and an excellent hermitage.
