महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-136, verse-201

न भयं विद्यते राजन्भीतस्यानागते भये ।
अभीतस्य तु विस्रम्भात्सुमहज्जायते भयम् ॥२०१॥

201. na bhayaṁ vidyate rājanbhītasyānāgate bhaye ,
abhītasya tu visrambhātsumahajjāyate bhayam.

201. rājan,

201. O King, fear does not arise for one who is apprehensive about a future, not yet arrived, danger. However, for a fearless person, great fear arises precisely from their overconfidence.
