ततश्चिच्छेद तं तन्तुं मार्जारस्य स मूषकः ।
विप्रमुक्तोऽथ मार्जारस्तमेवाभ्यपतद्द्रुमम् ॥११५॥

115. Then, that mouse cut the bond (rope) that held the cat. The cat, thus freed, immediately rushed towards that very tree.
