महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-136, verse-193

अरिणापि समर्थेन संधिं कुर्वीत पण्डितः ।
मूषकश्च बिडालश्च मुक्तावन्योन्यसंश्रयात् ॥१९३॥
193. ariṇāpi samarthena saṁdhiṁ kurvīta paṇḍitaḥ ,
mūṣakaśca biḍālaśca muktāvanyonyasaṁśrayāt.

mūṣakaḥ ca biḍālaḥ ca muktau anyonyasaṃśrayāt

193. A wise person (paṇḍita) should make an alliance even with a strong enemy, just as the mouse and the cat relied on each other for their liberation (mokṣa).
