स कदाचित्तमुपाध्यायमाहोत्तङ्कः ।
आज्ञापयतु भवान् ।
किं ते प्रियमुपहरामि गुर्वर्थमिति ॥९७॥

97. One day, Uttanka said to the teacher, "Please command, sir! What dear thing shall I offer you as a guru's fee?"
