महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-3, verse-3

तं माता रोरूयमाणमुवाच ।
किं रोदिषि ।
केनास्यभिहत इति ॥३॥
3. taṁ mātā rorūyamāṇamuvāca ,
kiṁ rodiṣi ,
kenāsyabhihata iti.
3. tam mātā rorūyamāṇam uvāca kim
rodiṣi kena asi abhihataḥ iti
3. His mother said to him, as he was wailing, 'Why are you crying? By whom have you been struck?'
