महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-3, verse-142

शतान्यशीतिरष्टौ च सहस्राणि च विंशतिः ।
सर्पाणां प्रग्रहा यान्ति धृतराष्ट्रो यदेजति ॥१४२॥
142. śatānyaśītiraṣṭau ca sahasrāṇi ca viṁśatiḥ ,
sarpāṇāṁ pragrahā yānti dhṛtarāṣṭro yadejati.
142. śatāni aśītiḥ aṣṭau ca sahasrāṇi ca viṃśatiḥ
sarpāṇām pragraḥāḥ yānti dhṛtarāṣṭraḥ yadā ejati
142. When Dhṛtarāṣṭra stirs, twenty-eight thousand eight hundred serpents, his principal ones, move forth.
