महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-3, verse-134

तमुत्तङ्कः प्रत्युवाच ।
भवताहमन्नस्याशुचिभावमागमय्य प्रत्यनुनीतः ।
प्राक्च तेऽभिहितम् ।
यस्माददुष्टमन्नं दूषयसि तस्मादनपत्यो भविष्यसीति ।
दुष्टे चान्ने नैष मम शापो भविष्यतीति ॥१३४॥
134. tamuttaṅkaḥ pratyuvāca ,
bhavatāhamannasyāśucibhāvamāgamayya pratyanunītaḥ ,
prākca te'bhihitam ,
yasmādaduṣṭamannaṁ dūṣayasi tasmādanapatyo bhaviṣyasīti ,
duṣṭe cānne naiṣa mama śāpo bhaviṣyatīti.
134. tam uttaṅkaḥ pratyuvāca bhavatā aham annasya aśucibhāvam
āgamayya pratyasunītaḥ prāk ca te abhihitam yasmāt
aduṣṭam annam dūṣayasi tasmāt anapatyaḥ bhaviṣyasi
iti duṣṭe ca anne na eṣa mama śāpaḥ bhaviṣyati iti
134. Uttanka replied to him, "You made me understand the issue of the food's impurity. And it was said to you previously: 'Because you declare pure food impure, therefore you will be childless.' (I also said then,) 'If the food was actually impure, then this curse of mine will not take effect.'"
