महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-3, verse-131

तं पौष्यः प्रत्युवाच ।
नाहं शक्तः शापं प्रत्यादातुम् ।
न हि मे मन्युरद्याप्युपशमं गच्छति ।
किं चैतद्भवता न ज्ञायते यथा ॥१३१॥
131. taṁ pauṣyaḥ pratyuvāca ,
nāhaṁ śaktaḥ śāpaṁ pratyādātum ,
na hi me manyuradyāpyupaśamaṁ gacchati ,
kiṁ caitadbhavatā na jñāyate yathā.
131. tam pauṣyaḥ pratyuvāca na aham
śaktaḥ śāpam pratyādātum na hi me
manyuḥ adya api upaśamam gacchati
kim ca etat bhavatā na jñāyate yathā
131. Paushya replied to him, "I am not able to retract the curse. Indeed, my anger has not yet subsided. Furthermore, is it not known to you that..."
