खान्यद्भिरुपस्पृश्यान्तःपुरं प्रविश्य तां क्षत्रियामपश्यत् ॥११५॥
सुप्रक्षालितपाणिपादवदनोऽशब्दाभिर्हृदयंगमाभिरद्भिरुपस्पृश्य

upaspṛśya antaḥpuram praviśya tām kṣatriyām apaśyat
115.
Then Uttanka, saying "So be it," sat down facing east. After thoroughly washing his hands, feet, and face, and performing the ritual sipping of water—drinking it thrice, wiping his mouth twice, and touching his sense organs with soundless, pleasing water—he entered the inner chambers and saw that Kṣatriya woman.
