स तं पुरोहितमुपादायोपावृत्तो भ्रातॄनुवाच ।
मयायं वृत उपाध्यायः ।
यदयं ब्रूयात्तत्कार्यमविचारयद्भिरिति ॥१७॥

17. sa taṁ purohitamupādāyopāvṛtto bhrātṝnuvāca ,
mayāyaṁ vṛta upādhyāyaḥ ,
yadayaṁ brūyāttatkāryamavicārayadbhiriti.

17. saḥ tam purohitam upādāya
upāvṛttaḥ bhrātṝn uvāca mayā ayam
vṛtaḥ upādhyāyaḥ yat ayam brūyāt
tat kāryam avicārayadbhiḥ iti

17. He, having taken that priest with him, returned and said to his brothers, "This preceptor has been chosen by me. Whatever he says, that should be done by you all without hesitation."
