महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-3, verse-139

य ऐरावतराजानः सर्पाः समितिशोभनाः ।
वर्षन्त इव जीमूताः सविद्युत्पवनेरिताः ॥१३९॥
139. ya airāvatarājānaḥ sarpāḥ samitiśobhanāḥ ,
varṣanta iva jīmūtāḥ savidyutpavaneritāḥ.
139. ye airāvata-rājānaḥ sarpāḥ samiti-śobhanāḥ |
varṣantaḥ iva jīmūtāḥ sa-vidyut-pavana-īritāḥ
139. Those serpents, who are like kings such as Airavata and who are splendid in assemblies, [appear] like rain clouds accompanied by lightning and driven by the wind.
