महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-3, verse-144

यस्य वासः कुरुक्षेत्रे खाण्डवे चाभवत्सदा ।
तं काद्रवेयमस्तौषं कुण्डलार्थाय तक्षकम् ॥१४४॥
144. yasya vāsaḥ kurukṣetre khāṇḍave cābhavatsadā ,
taṁ kādraveyamastauṣaṁ kuṇḍalārthāya takṣakam.

144. I praised Takṣaka, the son of Kadru, whose abode was always in Kurukṣetra and Khāṇḍava, for the sake of the earrings (or coiled jewels).
