पुरा मङ्कणको राजन्कुशाग्रेणेति नः श्रुतम् ।
क्षतः किल करे राजंस्तस्य शाकरसोऽस्रवत् ॥९८॥

98. O King, it is said that in ancient times, the sage Maṅkaṇaka was wounded in his hand by the tip of a kuśa grass—this is what we have heard. O King, from his hand, vegetable sap flowed.
