ह्रदेष्वेतेषु यः स्नात्वा पितॄन्संतर्पयिष्यति ।
पितरस्तस्य वै प्रीता दास्यन्ति भुवि दुर्लभम् ।
ईप्सितं मनसः कामं स्वर्गलोकं च शाश्वतम् ॥३१॥

31. hradeṣveteṣu yaḥ snātvā pitṝnsaṁtarpayiṣyati ,
pitarastasya vai prītā dāsyanti bhuvi durlabham ,
īpsitaṁ manasaḥ kāmaṁ svargalokaṁ ca śāśvatam.

31.
Whoever bathes in these lakes and offers oblations to his ancestors (pitṛ), those ancestors (pitaraḥ), being pleased, will certainly bestow upon him that which is rare on earth, any desired object of his mind, and the eternal heavenly realm (svargaloka).
