महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-81, verse-25

एवमुक्तः स राजेन्द्र रामः प्रहरतां वरः ।
अब्रवीत्प्राञ्जलिर्वाक्यं पितॄन्स गगने स्थितान् ॥२५॥
25. evamuktaḥ sa rājendra rāmaḥ praharatāṁ varaḥ ,
abravītprāñjalirvākyaṁ pitṝnsa gagane sthitān.

25. Thus addressed, that Rāma, the best of warriors and a king among kings, spoke words with folded hands to the ancestors (pitṛs) who were situated in the sky.
