महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-81, verse-124

तत्सर्वं नश्यते तस्य स्नातमात्रस्य भारत ।
अश्वमेधफलं चापि स्वर्गलोकं च गच्छति ॥१२४॥
124. tatsarvaṁ naśyate tasya snātamātrasya bhārata ,
aśvamedhaphalaṁ cāpi svargalokaṁ ca gacchati.

aśvamedhaphalaṃ ca api svargalokaṃ ca gacchati
124. bhārata,
tasya snātamātrasya tat sarvaṃ naśyate ca api aśvamedhaphalaṃ ca svargalokaṃ gacchati
124. O Bhārata, all that (impurity/sin) is destroyed for a person who has merely bathed. He also obtains the reward of the Aśvamedha Vedic ritual (yajña) and goes to the heavenly world.
