महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-81, verse-38

कपिलातीर्थमासाद्य ब्रह्मचारी समाहितः ।
तत्र स्नात्वार्चयित्वा च दैवतानि पितॄंस्तथा ।
कपिलानां सहस्रस्य फलं विन्दति मानवः ॥३८॥
38. kapilātīrthamāsādya brahmacārī samāhitaḥ ,
tatra snātvārcayitvā ca daivatāni pitṝṁstathā ,
kapilānāṁ sahasrasya phalaṁ vindati mānavaḥ.

samāhitaḥ tatra snātvā arcayitvā ca
daivatāni pitṝn tathā kapilānām
sahasrasya phalam vindati mānavaḥ
38. A student of sacred knowledge (brahmacārī) who is self-controlled, upon reaching Kapilātīrtha, and having bathed there and worshipped the deities and also the ancestors, obtains the merit equal to (the gift of) a thousand tawny cows.
