महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-81, verse-92

ततो नैमिषकुञ्जं च समासाद्य कुरूद्वह ।
ऋषयः किल राजेन्द्र नैमिषेयास्तपोधनाः ।
तीर्थयात्रां पुरस्कृत्य कुरुक्षेत्रं गताः पुरा ॥९२॥
92. tato naimiṣakuñjaṁ ca samāsādya kurūdvaha ,
ṛṣayaḥ kila rājendra naimiṣeyāstapodhanāḥ ,
tīrthayātrāṁ puraskṛtya kurukṣetraṁ gatāḥ purā.

kurūdvaha ṛṣayaḥ kila rājendra

92. Then, O best among the Kurus, having reached the Naimiṣa grove, the sages (ṛṣi) of Naimiṣa, who were rich in asceticism (tapas), O king (rājendra), indeed went to Kurukṣetra long ago, having undertaken a pilgrimage (tīrthayātrā).
