महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-81, verse-71

तत्र स्नात्वार्चयित्वा च शूलपाणिं वृषध्वजम् ।
सर्वपापविशुद्धात्मा गच्छेत परमां गतिम् ॥७१॥
71. tatra snātvārcayitvā ca śūlapāṇiṁ vṛṣadhvajam ,

71. Having bathed there and worshipped Śūlapāṇi (Shiva), who has the bull as his emblem, a person whose inner self (ātman) is completely purified from all sins attains the supreme destination.
