महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-81, verse-55

मानुषस्य तु पूर्वेण क्रोशमात्रे महीपते ।
आपगा नाम विख्याता नदी सिद्धनिषेविता ॥५५॥

55. Indeed, O Lord of the earth (mahīpate), to the east of Mānuṣa, at a distance of just one krośa, there is a renowned river named Apagā, which is frequented by perfected beings (siddha).
