महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-81, verse-129

तत्र स्नात्वा दिवं यान्ति अपि पापकृतो जनाः ।
पृथूदके नरश्रेष्ठ प्राहुरेवं मनीषिणः ॥१२९॥

129. O best among men, having bathed there in Pṛthūdaka, even those people who have committed sins go to heaven. The wise men declare this to be so.
