महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-81, verse-94

तस्मिन्कुञ्जे नरः स्नात्वा गोसहस्रफलं लभेत् ।
कन्यातीर्थे नरः स्नात्वा अग्निष्टोमफलं लभेत् ॥९४॥
94. tasminkuñje naraḥ snātvā gosahasraphalaṁ labhet ,
kanyātīrthe naraḥ snātvā agniṣṭomaphalaṁ labhet.

94. A person who bathes in that grove obtains the reward of donating a thousand cows. A person who bathes in the Kanyātīrtha obtains the reward of the Agniṣṭoma Vedic ritual (yajña).
