महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-81, verse-60

ब्रह्माणमभिगम्याथ शुचिः प्रयतमानसः ।
सर्वपापविशुद्धात्मा ब्रह्मलोकं प्रपद्यते ॥६०॥
60. brahmāṇamabhigamyātha śuciḥ prayatamānasaḥ ,
sarvapāpaviśuddhātmā brahmalokaṁ prapadyate.
60. brahmāṇam abhigamya atha śuciḥ prayatamānasaḥ
sarvapāpaviśuddhātmā brahmalokaṃ prapadyate
60. A person who, after approaching Brahmā, becomes pure and self-controlled, and whose inner self (ātman) is completely purified from all sins, attains the world of Brahmā (brahmaloka).
