महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-81, verse-51

श्वानलोमापनयने तीर्थे भरतसत्तम ।
प्राणायामैर्निर्हरन्ति श्वलोमानि द्विजोत्तमाः ॥५१॥
51. śvānalomāpanayane tīrthe bharatasattama ,
prāṇāyāmairnirharanti śvalomāni dvijottamāḥ.

51. O best of the Bhāratas, at that sacred bathing place (tīrtha) for the removal of dog hair, the most excellent Brahmins (dvija) remove the dog hairs (or associated impurities) through exercises of breath control (prāṇāyāma).
