महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-81, verse-70

ततस्त्रिविष्टपं गच्छेत्त्रिषु लोकेषु विश्रुतम् ।
तत्र वैतरणी पुण्या नदी पापप्रमोचनी ॥७०॥
70. tatastriviṣṭapaṁ gacchettriṣu lokeṣu viśrutam ,
tatra vaitaraṇī puṇyā nadī pāpapramocanī.
70. tataḥ triviṣṭapam gacchet triṣu lokeṣu viśrutam
tatra vaitaraṇī puṇyā nadī pāpapramocanī
70. Thereafter, one should proceed to Triviṣṭapa, which is renowned throughout the three worlds. There, one finds the holy river Vaitaraṇī, which frees one from sins.
