औजसं वरुणं तीर्थं दीप्यते स्वेन तेजसा ।
यत्र ब्रह्मादिभिर्देवैरृषिभिश्च तपोधनैः ।

143. aujasaṁ varuṇaṁ tīrthaṁ dīpyate svena tejasā ,

143. The powerful and supreme holy bathing place (tīrtha) shines with its own radiance. It is there that Guha (Kārtikeya) was then consecrated as the commander-in-chief of the gods by Brahmā and other deities, and by sages whose wealth is austerity (tapas).
