महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-308, verse-92

वक्तव्ये तु यदा वक्ता श्रोतारमवमन्यते ।
स्वार्थमाह परार्थं वा तदा वाक्यं न रोहति ॥९२॥

92. vaktavye tu yadā vaktā śrotāramavamanyate ,
svārthamāha parārthaṁ vā tadā vākyaṁ na rohati.
