वर्णप्रवरमुख्यासि ब्राह्मणी क्षत्रियो ह्यहम् ।
नावयोरेकयोगोऽस्ति मा कृथा वर्णसंकरम् ॥५९॥

59. varṇapravaramukhyāsi brāhmaṇī kṣatriyo hyaham ,
nāvayorekayogo'sti mā kṛthā varṇasaṁkaram.

59. tvam varṇapravaramukhyā brāhmaṇī asi,
hi aham kṣatriyaḥ na avayoḥ ekayogaḥ asti,

59. You are a Brāhmaṇa woman, chief among the most distinguished castes, while I am a Kṣatriya. There can be no union for us. Do not create a mixture of social orders (varṇasaṅkara).
