वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-1, verse-20

भिद्यते ऽयं गिरिर्भूतैरिति मत्वा तपस्विनः ।
त्रस्ता विद्याधरास्तस्मादुत्पेतुः स्त्रीगणैः सह ॥२०॥
20. bhidyate'yaṃ girirbhūtairiti matvā tapasvinaḥ ,
trastā vidyādharāstasmādutpetuḥ strīgaṇaiḥ saha.
20. bhidyate ayam giriḥ bhūtaiḥ iti matvā tapasvinaḥ |
trastāḥ vidyādharāḥ tasmāt utpetuḥ strīgaṇaiḥ saha
20. tapasvinaḥ ayam giriḥ bhūtaiḥ bhidyate iti matvā
trastāḥ vidyādharāḥ strīgaṇaiḥ saha tasmāt utpetuḥ
20. Thinking, 'This mountain is being rent apart by elemental beings (bhūtas)', the ascetics [too might have been disturbed]. The terrified Vidyādharas, along with their female retinues, flew up from that place.
