वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-1, verse-19

यानि चौषधजालानि तस्मिञ्जातानि पर्वते ।
विषघ्नान्यपि नागानां न शेकुः शमितुं विषम् ॥१९॥
19. yāni cauṣadhajālāni tasmiñjātāni parvate ,
viṣaghnānyapi nāgānāṃ na śekuḥ śamituṃ viṣam.
19. yāni ca auṣadhajālāni tasmin jātāni parvate |
viṣaghnāni api nāgānām na śekuḥ śamitum viṣam
19. tasmin parvate jātāni yāni auṣadhajālāni ca

19. Even the many medicinal plants that grew on that mountain, though they were potent antidotes for serpents, could not quell the poison.
