वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-1, verse-185

स महामेघसंकाशं समीक्ष्यात्मानमात्मना ।
निरुन्धन्तमिवाकाशं चकार मतिमान्मतिम् ॥१८५॥
185. sa mahāmeghasaṃkāśaṃ samīkṣyātmānamātmanā ,
nirundhantamivākāśaṃ cakāra matimānmatim.

nirundhantam iva ākāśam cakāra matimān matim

185. The intelligent (matimān) Hanuman, perceiving his own (ātman) form as resembling a great cloud and seemingly obstructing the sky, then made a firm resolve (mati) in his mind.
