मनु-स्मृतिः       manu-smṛtiḥ - chapter-4, verse-93

उत्थायावश्यकं कृत्वा कृतशौचः समाहितः ।
पूर्वां संध्यां जपंस्तिष्ठेत स्वकाले चापरां चिरम ॥९३॥
93. utthāyāvaśyakaṁ kṛtvā kṛtaśaucaḥ samāhitaḥ ,
pūrvāṁ saṁdhyāṁ japaṁstiṣṭhet svakāle cāparāṁ ciram.

sandhyāṃ japant tiṣṭheta svakāle ca aparāṃ ciram

93. After rising and completing necessary ablutions and purification, with a composed mind, one should stand reciting the morning prayers (sandhyā) and also the evening prayers (sandhyā) for a long time at their respective times.
