मनु-स्मृतिः       manu-smṛtiḥ - chapter-4, verse-73

अद्वारेण च नातीयाद ग्रामं वा वेश्म वाऽवृतम ।
रात्रौ च वृक्षमूलानि दूरतः परिवर्जयेत ॥७३॥
73. advāreṇa ca nātīyād grāmaṁ vā veśma vā'vṛtam ,
rātrau ca vṛkṣamūlāni dūrataḥ parivarjayet.
