na aśnanti pitaras tasya daśa varṣāṇi pañca ca na
ca havyaṃ vahati agniḥ yaḥ tām abhyavamanayate

tasya pitarah daśa varṣāṇi pañca ca na aśnanti,
agniḥ ca na havyaṃ vahati yaḥ tām abhyavamanayate

For ten years, and five years more, his ancestors do not eat, nor does the fire (agni) carry oblations (havya) for him who disrespects her.
