मनु-स्मृतिः       manu-smṛtiḥ - chapter-4, verse-76

आर्द्रपादस्तु भुञ्जीत नार्द्रपादस्तु संविशेत ।
आर्द्रपादस्तु भुञ्जानो दीर्घमायुरवाप्नुयात ॥७६॥
76. ārdrapādastu bhuñjīta nārdrapādastu saṁviśet ,
ārdrapādastu bhuñjāno dīrghamāyuravāpnuyāt.
76. ārdrapādaḥ tu bhuñjīta nārdrāpādaḥ tu saṃviśeta
| ārdrapādaḥ tu bhuñjāno dīrgham āyuḥ avāpnuyāt
76. One should eat with wet feet, but should not sleep with wet feet. One who eats with wet feet attains a long life.
