मनु-स्मृतिः       manu-smṛtiḥ - chapter-4, verse-150

सावित्रान शान्तिहोमांश्च कुर्यात पर्वसु नित्यशः ।
पितॄंश्चैवाष्टकास्वर्चेन्नित्यमन्वष्टकासु च ॥१५०॥
150. sāvitrān śāntihomāṁśca kuryāt parvasu nityaśaḥ ,
pitṝṁścaivāṣṭakāsvarcennityamanvaṣṭakāsu ca.

150. One should perform the Savitri and Shanti fire rituals daily on auspicious days. And one should always honor the ancestors on the Ashtaka days and on the days following them.
