मनु-स्मृतिः       manu-smṛtiḥ - chapter-4, verse-20

यथा यथा हि पुरुषः शास्त्रं समधिगच्छति ।
तथा तथा विजानाति विज्ञानं चास्य रोचते ॥२०॥
20. yathā yathā hi puruṣaḥ śāstraṁ samadhigacchati ,
tathā tathā vijānāti vijñānaṁ cāsya rocate.

tathā tathā vijānāti vijñānaṃ cāsya rōcatē
20. hi puruṣaḥ yathā yathā śāstraṃ samadhigacchati

20. As a person progressively understands scripture, so does their understanding grow, and knowledge becomes pleasing to them.
